Many students and teachers at Angeline enjoyed the magic of the Eras Tour in Florida. Ali Joline (7) enjoyed her Miami show while Ms. Abigail Davis, Ms. Ashley Swain, Maddy Vargas (7), and Riley Crall (7) all saw the tour in Tampa. Taylor Swift’s Era’s Tour broke records, with Taylor performing 149 shows and ticket sales bringing in 2 Billion dollars during the almost two-year-long tour.
Davis enjoyed the thrill of the Eras Tour in Tampa on night three. This concert was special to her for many reasons, with one song holding a special place in her heart.
“Six months before the Eras tour my mama passed, so ‘Marjorie’ is a song that I very much relate to the lyrics and I was singing to my mama,” Davis said.
Claire Ellinger (7) sang her heart out during the Eras tour night one in Tampa; she wore an outfit representing her favorite album, “Lover”.
“I wore silver sparkly pants with a hot pink top and glitter in my hair with heart sunglasses,” Ellinger said.
Joline was lucky to experience the magic of Taylor Swift’s last rain show in Miami on night three, creating a forever memory with her family and Taylor Swift.
“’Lover’ and ‘Enchanted’ were my favorite songs; ‘Lover’ is my mom’s favorite, and I feel like we listen to it a lot and it is special to my mom, so it is special to me,” Joline said.
Vargas enjoyed the entire experience night one in Tampa; one of her favorite moments during the tour was when Taylor first came out on stage.
“I think like when she came out that was just so, it made me tear up a little bit, and it was just really fun to see her come out and breathe the same air as her,” Vargas said.
Crall got to experience the Eras tour in Tampa on night 2. As a huge Swiftie, Crall was singing and crying all night.
“My favorite set was probably the ‘Reputation’ set because I like the outfits and the energy,” Crall explained.
Swain was unable to purchase tickets when they first went on sale. Luckily, she had a friend who had an extra ticket and she was able to attend the Tampa show on night 1. She knew this concert was one she couldn’t miss.
“The Eras Tour is a tour that people will talk about forever,” Swain said. “I’ve never experienced a concert like that before, and I am lucky to be able to say ‘I was there.'”
We know it “All Too Well” that many people who went to the Eras Tour had “The Best Day”. They will always be “Bejeweled” with special memories from their concert experience with Taylor Swift making “the whole place shimmer”.
